‘Not Tonight 2’ fights capitalism and political greed in the ‘alternative’ US

Three years after taking over Brexit , publisher No More Robots and developer PanicBarn are working on a sequel to the satirical political RPG. Not tonight 2 takes place in a supposedly alternative version of the United States, where “capitalism and political greed have taken center stage, and democracy is a thing of the past.”

Not tonight 2 focuses on three intertwined stories written by a group of artists and authors of POC. Three characters – Malik, Kevin and Marie – embark on a journey to try to save their friend Edward from deportation or other terrible fate.

The original game made comparisons with Papers, please because of his basic playing of checking personal documents as a bouncer in pubs and nightclubs. That mechanic is back in the sequel, along with a variety of mini-games, including everything from association to words and rhythm games to working on a border wall, joining a cult, and serving poutin to Canadians.

More than 400,000 people played Not tonight, which it landed on the Nintendo Switch last year. Not tonight 2 should be guessed Steam later this year.
