The morning after: Disney’s impressive Star Wars experience is very expensive

Disney’s it will cost you. For two guests in a standard two-night adventure cabin, you’ll only have to shell out $ 5,000.

Disney promises this as “partly lively immersive theater, partly themed environment, partly culinary extravagance, partly role-playing in real life”. The company offers more details on how your story might unfold, with the option of choosing to side with the First Order (boo) or join the resistance.

There will also be lightsaber lessons, election missions and opportunities to interact with cult SW characters who will, well, act like NPCs in video games. According to reports, each Starcruiser adventure is a multi-month salary unique, so if you can afford one cruise trip, you can probably book another, different, adventure.

The position sounds very western, and like that fictional theme park, it seems shamelessly aimed only at the richest Star Wars fans. It also sounds like there won’t be any Star Wars experiences like this. The temptation, however, could outweigh the economic reality. Again, it seems to be positively cheap compared to .

The Messages, Photos and Siri functions will also come on watchOS and macOS.

Apple has described in detail the new features aimed at child safety. With the release of iOS 15, watchOS 8 and macOS Monterey later this year, the company says it will introduce various child protection features in messages, photos and Siri.

For starters, the Messages app will include new notifications that will alert children, as well as their parents, when they send or receive sexually explicit photos. When someone sends an inappropriate picture to a child, the app will blur it and display a few warnings. Apple will also introduce new software tools in iOS and iPadOS that will allow the company to detect when someone uploads content to iCloud that shows children involved in sexually explicit acts. Instead of scanning photos when they are uploaded to the cloud, the system will use a database of “known” images on the device. These and other features will arrive on the devices later this year.
