Twitter adds Google and Apple ID as login and sign-in options

Twitter adds two additional ways people can sign in to their accounts. As of today, you can use your Google ID to access the service through its web client and mobile app. On iOS, meanwhile, Sign in with Apple is now working with the Twitter app, and the company plans to support a web login service “soon”. It is also possible to use both services to create a new Twitter account.

Of the two options, signing up with Apple is more intriguing. Apple introduced it at WWDC 2019 as an alternative to sign-in services from Facebook and Google. The company claims that signing in with Apple prevents tracking, and also allows you to hide your email by generating secondary addresses that then forward all messages from apps and services to your regular inbox.

In any case, Twitter that adds support for Google and Apple ID should make life a little easier for new users. But here we will notice one of the common things about the introduction of this feature is that Twitter offers its own login service that you can use to access some websites. The internet can sometimes be a weird place.
