If you were looking at Apple’s latest Mac Mini as your next desktop, now is the time for action. You can get it right now 512 GB model for $ 799 on Amazon or $ 100 at the regular price of $ 899. The deal puts desktops below the record low we saw in March and April. It also means you only pay $ 100 more for double storage compared to the base model of $ 699.

This should come in handy if you plan to take full advantage of the Mac Mini M1 chip. Like us earlier noted, Apple’s internal silicon is a powerful force that performs most tasks quickly, whether it’s browsing inflated websites or opening creative editing software. Inside the desktop you will find an 8-core CPU with four performance cores and four efficiency cores and a 16-core Neural Engine. Unlike iMac, you will also need your own display and peripherals such as a keyboard and mouse.

However, there are a few caveats. The RAM and memory of the Mac Mini cannot be upgraded, and the two rear Thunderbolt ports will not please those who need additional monitors and faster connectivity. Apple also offers a unique memory of 16 GB, up to 2TB of SSD storage space and 10 Gigabit Ethernet support at a price. In fact, a true premium Mac Mini will give you back $ 1,799. Having said that, the specifications available on this model offer should satisfy most casual users.
