Netflix has released an official trailer for a limited series of supernatural horror movies Brand new cherry flavor which the premiere is shown on August 13th. The show is inspired by the novel of the same name by Todd Grimson, and stars Rosa Salazar (Alita: Battle Angel), Manny Jacinto (The Good Place)), Catherine Keener (COM)Get out), and Jeff Ward (Shield’s agents)). Showrunners Nick Antosca (Channel Zero) and Lenore ZionBillions) will also write a show.
The plot takes place in LA in the 1990s in Hollywood. Camerawoman Lisa N. Nova (Salazar) is a young woman with wide eyes who wants to break into the film industry. She meets Lou Burke, a Hollywood producer who promises to help her get the connections she needs to become a great director. Sh * t goes downhill when Lou betrays Lisa, and she intends to take revenge. To do so, he asks the witch (Keener) to hex Lou -ai make his life a hell of a life. But as you know, this always comes at a price.

“Lisa N. Nova (Rosa Salazar) comes to LA dead and ready to direct her first film. But when he trusts the wrong person and gets stabbed in the back, everything goes to the side and the dream project turns into a sea. This nightmare has zombies, killers, supernatural kittens and a mysterious tattoo artist who loves to curse people. And Lisa will have to reveal some secrets from her own past in order to get out alive. ”
