As promised, Respawn Entertainment has shared a game announcement announcing some of the more significant changes to come Apex Legends as part of his upcoming Season of occurrence, which should be during August 3rd. We immediately fire up with the new version World’s Edge. Respawn trimmed the battlefield to add molten molten lava passing through the center of the map.
Studio says it did so in part to make the combat encounters involved in and around the sorting plant, one of the main points of interest in World’s Edge, more dynamic, with a greater emphasis on close-up action. Another important element of the redesign is the addition of the gondola to two new points of interest. According to Respawn, the idea here was to replicate part of the “dynamic gameplay” that is practiced in the original version of the map.
Outside of the redesigned World’s Edge, we also see how the new Rampage LMG works in the game, which will allow players to knock down doors from a distance. Towards the end of the clip, the seer, Apex’s the latest character to play, enters. Its kit allows you to narrow your opponents by following your heart rate as you aim the sights of your weapon. If you find the enemy, you can send a swarm of microdrons to hunt them down. Players can avoid detecting the seer by moving slowly. During EA’s Play Live event last week,, Apex Legends Chad Grenier, the game’s director, said he believes the character will help change the pace of games, forcing players to move more methodically when Seer is on the other team.
Apex Legends is available for free play on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC Nintendo Switch.
