Creepshow‘s great second season arrived earlier this year, offering positive proof that it was well received first season horror anthologies – based on George A. Romero–Stephen King cult film collaboration – not by chance. With season three soon on the road, San Diego Comic-Con @ Home was a key stop for the Shudder series.
The Creepshow the panel included a showrunner and an executive producer Greg Nicotero, writer Mattie Do, director Rusty Cundieff, and season three actors Michael Rooker and James Remar – as well as an “exclusive first look” at the new episodes. Nicotero announced this immediately the new season will hit Shudder from the start September 23; tthere will be six episodes, each story two stories, in accordance with established emission format.
“We have Joe Hill story called ‘Moms, directed by Rusty, stars Ethan Embry. There is a couple original stories; the story in which James stars is called “Skeletons in the Closet” about a props collector who turned out to be such a fanatical fan that he digs up skeletons used in movies as an addition to his props collection, ”Nicotero continued. “So it’s kind of loosely based on the legend that it is Dawn of the dead i Poltergeist tHats used real skeletons as props for movies. I’ve always loved an idea, like, ‘Wait, it was a person and theirs a skeleton was used? ‘ John Esposito wrote the script, I directed it, and James came in to play for a few days. “Other episodes that Nicotero teased include“ Meter Reader, ”which he called “few species nod your head Exorcist, ” and “The Last Subaraja ”, which tells the story of an art dealer who discovers rare picture “but, in cyst Creepshow fashion, decides to burn her before anyone ever sees her, and has let go of this demonic presence.”
The panel shared several clips, including an episode written by Do, starring Rooker, “Drug Trafficking,” about a border patrol agent who has a particularly monstrous night at work. is inspired by a Legend of Southeast Asia and includes a floating head, which you can see if you talk more in the introduction to the clip around 12:30; tthe clip itself starts around 2:20 p.m.). There’s also a clip from “Queen Bee,” which Nicotero posted as “these kids are fans of the singer type Beyoncé and find out that she is pregnant and giving birth to a child, so they want to sneak into the hospital to sell pictures of the baby to the tabloids … all our stories have some social themesnce and a little surprise in terms of what people feel they are right … i in this episode, [the kids] get a little more than they asked for. “Clip, which reveals some directly hospital corridor terror, starts at 31:37.
Creepshow the third season arrives on September 23 at Shudder; additional cast members will include Johnathon Schaech,, Reid Scott,, i Hannah Fierman. The shiver is also where the first and second seasons are currently running; starting on September 6, Creepshow the second season will too achieve its “linear premiere” at AMC.
