Remember the high-tech face masks that were teased during the relatively early days of the COVID-19 pandemic? Not many have entered stores (or our faces) yet, but that gives companies even more time to upgrade. Like LG, which used the Tokyo Olympics (and the Thailand team) to present them improved wearable mask for air purification.
It still features three fans and a pair of HEPA-style filters, and now also has a smaller, lighter motor and a built-in microphone, speaker and voice amplifier. LG says its VoiceOn technology will recognize when you’re talking and turn up the volume so others can hear you – a common problem when trying to communicate while wearing any mask. This new version arrives in Thailand in August.

Fortunately, a correction followed a few hours later.
Starting at approximately 11:20 a.m. CET, Downdetector began to record a jump in outage reports on various online services and websites. Some of the more notable platforms that people could not connect to are PSN, LastPass, TikTok, Steam and UPS. A visit to the PlayStation Store and other affected sites would return a DNS error. Akamai said he implemented a fix to have problems he had with his Edge DNS service, and most sites and services were back to normal. Keep reading.

The female employees are dealing with constant sexual harassment, the complaint states.
Activision Blizzard is facing a lawsuit from the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing for inciting what the agency describes as a “brother” in the workplace. DFEH sued the company that owns the Call of Duty series and Supervising after a two-year investigation. The company states that, in addition to receiving lower salaries than their male counterparts, the employees were allegedly exposed to constant sexual harassment. Activision Blizzard denies DEFH’s allegations, adding that the lawsuit “includes distorted and in many cases false descriptions of Blizzard’s past.” Keep reading.
The messaging app cost $ 27.7 billion.
The Slack messaging app is now officially part of Salesforce after the completion of a $ 27.7 billion deal. The IRC-style client, which cost 27.7 times more than Instagram when it was bought by Facebook, will now operate as a stand-alone unit within the computer giant. Salesforce intends to use the $ 27.7 billion Slack as the new Customer 360 interface, its tool for managing a number of applications. It also puts Salesforce, which, I repeat, paid $ 27.7 billion for Slack, in an antitrust war with Microsoft, after Windows maker put Microsoft Teams with its Office suite in the package. The right to repair moves with the goal of giving users the right to perform basic repairs to their devices without too much hassle. But if you’re in the U.S., you won’t see it.
OnePlus has an unusual problem. Today, it produces very good leading smartphones, but at the same time it is still chasing the status of a leading phone killer. Here comes his Nord series which offers smart-looking smartphones (and they feel priced from parts of the price of leading devices). The Nord 2 5G is similar to the proposal as the original Nord, with some camera improvements and a new processor that rounds out the biggest changes. The Nord 2 with £ 399 (roughly $ 458 before taxes) has a slightly more premium style similar to its expensive cousins, like the $ 729 OnePlus 9. Mat Smith tested the phone for a few days. He said that problems with the current monetary system distract attention “from bigger problems”.
Twitter and Square CEO Jack Dorsey has been a bitcoin lover for a long time. In fact, he is so optimistic about the cryptocurrency, he believes it could bring a calmer planet. During a video discussion on the cryptocurrency with Elon Musk, another vocal figure in the cryptocurrency, and Cathie Wood, CEO of Square ARK Invest, said:
“I hope it creates peace in the world or helps create peace in the world. We have all these monopolies out of balance, and the individual has no power, and the amount of costs and distractions that come from our monetary system today is real and takes away attention from bigger problems. ” Keep reading.
