If you’ve been looking for a capable Android phone that won’t fail, there’s a solid offer in Woot that’s worth checking out. Google Pixel 4 is for sale for $ 380, which is less than the usual $ 800 for a 64GB model. That’s the lowest price we’ve seen for a smartphone lately. Woot’s parent company Amazon and B&H Photo sold the Pixel 4 for $ 400 earlier this month.
As you might expect from a Google smartphone, the Pixel 4 has great cameras. It has a “smooth” display system that can boost the refresh rate from the typical 60Hz to 90Hz. The device will also support Android 12 and it’s fast enough for most uses.
All in all, the Pixel 4 could have better value than the model Pixel 4a 5G i Pixel 5 right now. The Pixel 4ameanwhile it costs $ 350 and arrived a year after the Pixel 4, but Google has reduced some specs – the screen only has 60Hz refresh and there is only one rear camera, not two.
There are a few provisions to keep in mind with the Pixel 4. Google will provide Android and security updates for the Pixel 4 until October 2022, but there is no guarantee that it will continue after that. Phone and network support may not be available after that. Meanwhile, the brightness of the device screen and battery life do not match the equivalent leading models of Apple and Samsung.
It is worth mentioning Woot’s return policy is more limited than Amazon. Most goods can be shipped within 30 days, and Woot will reduce the refund amount for return shipping costs (as long as the product is not defective or damaged). So if you grab a Pixel 4 while it’s in action, it’s probably best to quickly decide if you want to hang it.
