Dead Space is back. EA has unveiled announcements for a remastered version of the original Dead Space, featuring a spooky interstellar environment and not much else. Motive Studios is developing the game, moving towards the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S and PC.
Here’s how EA describes the new venture on YouTube: “Classic sci-fi survival horror Dead Space returns, completely rebuilt from the ground up by Motive Studios to offer a deeper and more immersive experience. Leveraging the power of the Frostbite drivetrain and next-generation consoles, this remake brings visual fidelity and gameplay improvements while remaining true to the original. “
EA says it’s a new version Dead Space will include improved storytelling, characters, and gameplay mechanics.
Original Dead Space was released in 2008 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC and has become a current classic. The series enters a space horror brand, with terrifying alien beings around every corner, creative weapons and the constant threat of breaking isolation. All of this should be even more scenic on current hardware.
There is no word on the remastered release window Dead Space just more.
