Minecraft, the best-selling video game of all time for more than ten years. Designed and constructed by a Finnish architecture student named Matias, Mattupolis has been redesigned and reorganized several times since its original release ten years ago and is still growing.

Greenfield

This huge fictional city, inspired by Los Angeles, is extraordinarily detailed. These aren’t the most beautiful maps, but what Greenfield lacks seems to make up for it on a scale, and most realistic-looking buildings boast a fully modeled interior that you can explore. There are beautiful apartments on the beach, skyscrapers and even a football stadium. But Greenfield is a city without warts, so you’ll also find traffic docks, an industrial zone and some gloomy neighborhoods. Designed on a 1: 1 scale, where each block is equivalent to 1 meter, it has an authentic urban feel. The city is doing research, and there are several strange and miraculous Easter eggs to discover. Uncensored library

Conceptually, this is our favorite Minecraft, build because it gives journalists fighting repressive regimes a place to keep their votes. Uncensored library contains news from countries like Saudi Arabia, Russia, Vietnam and Egypt. This huge working library is constantly growing and offers a multitude of books, even some music discs to play while you read. It’s not the best format for long readings, but you can dive in and find important articles about the state of press freedom and what repressive regimes do. Witchcraft and sorcery

Designed by The Floo Network, the inspiration for this construction is no secret. The Witchcraft and sorcery the map revives the world of Harry Potter with locations like Hogwarts and Diagon Alley diligently realized block by block. This map has been under construction for almost ten years and covers an incredible 485 square kilometers. We first visited WesterosCraft in 2013, but it has been refurbished and has grown significantly since then. Even after a disappointing ending in an extremely popular TV show, WesterosCraft it still has a very active community. The ultimate goal is to build every city, castle and landmark that includes Vestero – all 500 of them!

Cyberpunk

Cyberpunk 2077 caused a stir for all the wrong reasons and failed to impress, but the game features a beautiful futuristic city that serves as inspiration for this stunning map. Built by a French team, Elysium Fire, this glowing neon megacity features incredibly tall and densely packed skyscrapers flooded with lights, holograms and billboards. Scale Cyberpunk card and the skill of the construction team can hardly fail to impress. Fans of the CD Project Red, behind which stands the programmer Cyberpunk i The Witcher games, are required to check out Elysium Fire’s themselves Map of Novigrad also.

Kingdom Code

It is difficult to choose a map from a visionary builder Circleight, because it produces some really stunning materials with complex constructions and amazing colors. It has an industrial, stiampunk feel with gears, machines and canons in the middle of medieval buildings, all crammed into the back of a huge tortoise with a clock. It’s impressive enough as a sculpture, but you can also go inside and explore fully built interiors.
