Believe it or not, Chris Hemsworth appears in the latest episode of Loki. Well, his voice knows.
The Kate Herron directed episode under the title A journey into mystery,, takes place at a location at the end of time created by the Directorate for Time Variations called Void. In this void, viewers see Throg (a version of Thor in the form of a frog from Earth-97161) trapped in a bottle deep underground as he tries to break out to reach his Mjolnir.
When Herron was on the ForAllNerds podcast last Friday, she revealed that Chris Hemsworth is the voice of Throg. You don’t hear the Frog utter any dialogue, but the scream it betrays passes Hemsworth. Herron had him record new lines and sounds strictly for the show, and she kept it a well-kept secret.
“Throg, get him inside [was fun]”Herron said in a podcast. “By the way, we filmed Chris Hemsworth for that. By the way, I haven’t told anyone yet, but we recorded it because of that, so it’s a new recording. It is a brand new recording and has not been recycled. ”
After the episode fell on Disney +, Lokija writer Eric Martin told fans that Throg would have a longer role in this episode, but it was interrupted due to time constraints. #ReleasetheThrogcut
