‘Cut Stranding Director’s Cut’ will be on PS5 on September 24th

Death of stranded directors, an expanded version of the sci-fi action game Kojima Productions 2019, is coming to PlayStation 5 on September 24th. Sony debuted the first full trailer for Death stranded Director’s Cut during today’s State of Play stream, along with the game’s release date and news about it reservations are open now. Today’s trailer confirms Director’s Cut will have new boss battles and combat mechanics, including fresh weapons and accessories like the outpatient Buddy Bot. There’s also a shooting range, racing mode, new campaign missions and upgraded transportation options. The game was released during a live broadcast of the Summer Game Fest in June, but these are the first concrete details of what will be included.

It’s all along with the basic game, which is hard to summarize (like most Kojima titles), but we’ll do our best: Death stranded is beautiful and tiring. It is an extensive, strange, futuristic adventure about isolation, death, and social cohesion, and it is often cinematically to failure. Which, oddly enough, makes the director’s cut feel like the next logical step.
