Google released the latest version of the Nest thermostat late last year. While it was already an enticing device for those looking to save energy and make their homes smarter, Google has sweetened the deal with a $ 130 thermostat price tag. It has appeared on sale several times since then, but today you can grab it snow color option for $ 88, which is 32 percent lower than the normal price and a record low. Also, snow thermostat with trim kit it sells for $ 103 or $ 12 less than other Trim Kit packages. Other colors are up to $ 100, which is the same selling price we saw back in April around Earth Day.
Compared to previous Nest thermostats, this one it is thinner, has a touch-sensitive edge and a mirror screen that looks nice and wakes up automatically when you approach it. In addition to looking better than most conventional thermostats, the Nest thermostat is also much smarter, giving you control via device controls, Google’s Home app, and even using the Assistant or Alexa voice commands. The device itself has a redesigned controller display, which makes it easy to quickly adjust the temperature in your home.
But automatic functions are probably the biggest selling points for a device like the Nest thermostat. It recognizes when you have left your home and will automatically switch to eco-friendly mode, keeping your home at a certain temperature until you return when it will raise or lower the temperature based on your preferences. This Nest thermostat also has a Savings Finder, a feature that continuously searches for ways to reduce energy bills throughout the year. For example, the device will suggest weather-based adjustments – consider reducing heat consumption in the house during a particularly warm winter – that you can accept to potentially reduce energy costs. While a smart thermostat like the Nest needs a little more installation than a standard smart light bulb, it’s a good point to enter the world of the smart home – and it’s even better when sold this way.
